During Free Trial (Without Login)

• Device identifier
• Phone model and device information
• Crash reports and stack traces (via Firebase Crashlytics)

When You Log In (Google OAuth)

• Google account information (email address, profile data)
• Financial data you input, including:
  • Bank account information
  • Budget categories and amounts
  • Income and expense data

Mailing List Subscribers

• Email addresses of users who subscribe to our mailing lists
• Timestamp of last message sent (to prevent spam)

How We Use Your Information

• Device data: To identify unique users and improve app performance
• Financial data: To provide personal finance tracking and sync across devices
• Crash data: To identify and fix technical issues

Data Storage and Sync

• All your financial data is stored locally in a SQLite database on your device
• When logged in, data syncs to Google Firebase Firestore for backup and cross-device access
• You can only access your own data - user data is completely isolated
• Backend access logs are automatically deleted after 30 days

Data Retention and Deletion

• Local data: Deleted when you log out of the app
• Cloud data: Persists after logout for cross-device sync
• Inactive accounts: Data may be deleted if your trial or subscription expires and remains inactive for more than 6 months
• Unsync data: Any data not synced due to network issues will be lost upon logout

Your Rights

• Mailing lists: Unsubscribe via email links or at https://budgetpilot.net/sub-email
• Account data: Managed through your Google account settings
• Data portability: Contact us for data export requests
