BUDGET PILOT - TERMS OF SERVICE

1. The service. Budget Pilot is a tool for AI coding tools (such as Codex CLI, Gemini CLI and Claude Code) on Linux and
   Windows (WSL), sold as a subscription at the price shown at checkout. Each licence key works on the number of
   machines shown on the sales page. The subscription also covers the Budget Pilot browser extension for the ChatGPT,
   Claude and Gemini websites, with the same key, in the number of browsers shown in your account.
2. Billing. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, which also handles sales tax and
   invoices. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time
   on the Account page of our website; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
3. Payments. Payments are final, except where the law requires otherwise.
4. Licence. Budget Pilot is licensed, not sold. You may not share, publish, resell or rent Budget Pilot or your
   licence key, and you may not change the software to get around the licence check. Keys from coupons or given
   free follow the same rules.
5. Licence check. The software and the extension check your key with our server every few hours (see the Privacy
   Policy). When a subscription ends, or a key is cancelled for breaking these terms, Budget Pilot switches itself
   off and your AI tools and chat websites work exactly as they did before.
6. No warranty. Budget Pilot is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our
   total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Budget Pilot in the 12 months before the claim. Budget Pilot
   changes the settings of your AI tools on your machine; the remove command on our website takes it out again. The
   extension changes the model picked in a chat website's own menu; it can only pick models your plan on that website
   offers, and websites change their pages, so a switch can fail (then your message is sent with the model already set).
7. Changes. We may update these terms; we will email subscribers before a price change applies to them.
8. Independent tool. Budget Pilot is not made, endorsed or supported by the makers of the AI tools it works with.
   Their names and trademarks belong to their owners.
9. Rewards (optional). Invites: when someone new to Budget Pilot subscribes by card through your invite link, you and
   they each get the free days shown on the website, for at most 12 invites a year; inviting yourself does not count.
   The cat game: points come only from the tokens Budget Pilot saves you (as your machines report them, and only while
   you share your savings in your account), from petting your cats once a day, and from invites. Points have no cash
   value: they cannot be bought, sold, transferred or paid out, and they buy only free days (with a monthly limit) and
   outfits that are just for looks. Free days move your next payment later or extend your key. Points or days gained
   by cheating, such as sending made-up numbers, can be removed. We may change or end the rewards at any time.
